   Hi, my name is Patrick, and I'm the founder of SoulTec Solutions. My story might sound familiar to you; my interest in computers and technology began very early in life. I started by watching over my older brother's shoulder when he sat at the family computer, asking questions as he'd troubleshoot or staring in amazement at what he could do with such a strange machine. Then, as I got older, I'd jump at any opportunity to get my hands on any spare components and eventually pieced together my first computer at age 10. That was when I knew I would be doing this for the rest of my life.


   As you'd expect, I'd grow up to be the "computer guy" for all my friends and family, throwing myself into a career as an IT technician. I won't bore you with my entire resume, but working as a tech, I started seeing some disturbing trends. Trends like the expectation from management to resolve 20 tickets each week, or more, if I was a higher tier of support. But if we were doing well, shouldn't we expect fewer problems to solve, not more? And sure, we kept track of customer satisfaction, but it was a number on a report and rarely something that was talked about when setting goals for the support center. If we're in the support business, shouldn't our primary concern be whether our clients and customers feel supported? I knew there had to be a better way. I knew IT support could be proactive instead of reactive and that customers' happiness should be a priority. 


   So in 2020, I laid the foundation for SoulTec Solutions. I began exploring solutions that would take the headache out of IT for the small business in Northwest Ohio and creating strategies for being proactive with customers' tech. I wanted to focus on preventing problems rather than resolving them. Today, SoulTec Solutions is the go-to IT partner for businesses and organizations in Fremont, Gibsonburg, Rossford, Maumee, and Toledo.
